TASTING NOTES
Like a silvery, crystal-clear hunk of ice, Arctic Fox wafts out of the glass with scents of fresh-cut green apple and honeydew. It’s lush and rich in the mouth, bursting with tart green apple and sweet lemon notes. There’s a stony, mineral element that hangs in the distance, as the finish hangs around for a few minutes.
FOOD PAIRING
Sweet, German-Style wines like this are perfect with creamy blue cheese, roquefort and even Swiss cheese fondue. Try it with Easter ham, pork and Thanksgiving turkey.
Located in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country, Fox Run overlooks one of the deepest parts of Seneca Lake, with fifty acres of vineyards producing a remarkable range of fine wines. The first grapes were planted in 1984 and the Civil War-era dairy barn was converted to a modern wine-making facility in 1990.
