Lieb Cellars Pinot blanc (Long Island)

Lieb Cellars Pinot blanc (Long Island)

$24.99

From the North Fork of Long Island, Lieb wines are made from 100% estate-grown fruit. This Signature Pinot blanc is produced from some of the oldest vines on the North Fork (circa 1983).  Fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks for crisp freshness.

TASTING NOTES
The nose is light and airy, filled with green pears and cream, lime leaf and white peach. It’s mouth-filling, juicy and smooth, while zesty, tart and lip-zingy (a new word we’ve made up). Tart, satisfying lime zest, a hint of smooth cream and toast, with a long, lemon finish.

PARING SUGGESTIONS
This fresh, tart wine would be great with ceviche and shellfish. Grilled scallops, prawns, crab and lobster are the first thing that come to mind; but we think, raw oysters would be amazing.
